Lesson 1 = HEADINGS

In this lesson the student should be able to learn and to write heading 1-6, put a paragraph, line breaks and horizontal rule on their own.

The heading is a title at the head of a page or section of a book. It is very important to have different types of headings to structure the content of the web page.

HTML headings are titles or subtitles that you want to display on a webpage.

Html includes six levels of headings, ranging from <h1>, <h2>, <h3>, <h4>, <h5> and <h6>.

Example

<h1> This is heading 1 </h1>
<h2> This is heading 2 </h2>
<h3> This is heading 3 </h3>
<h4> This is heading 4 </h4>
<h5> This is heading 5 </h5>
<h6> This is heading 6 </h6>

<h1> headings should be used for main headings, followed by <h2> headings, then the less important <h3>, and so on.
